The five day Level One PMDT Trainer Academy is thorough,
demanding and yet fun! It is geared toward giving the
student teacher a more than basic knowledge of handling
and training dogs and people.
In Level One, you can expect to learn:
-
the science
of learning,
-
basic training skills,
-
equipment pros
and cons,
-
the language of dogs,
-
and more!
You will
be assessed on your existing ability and sensitivity
using shelter dogs that will be provided for
you (please leave your own dogs
at home). You are
also invited to join in Pam's evening group classes
for real classroom procedures. There will be written
tests every day, and a final exam and a practical
test on the last day.

9 am to 5 pm each day with an hour and a half
for lunch. There are local
restaurants that you can choose from for lunch. |

$1,000.00. Accommodations and meals are not included,
but snacks are. You are responsible for all travel,
meals and hotel accommodations. (See

I will send you an informative required reading
list, that will help you prepare for an exciting
week at the Academy. The balance is due in full
45 days prior to the start of class. At that time,
the workbook will be sent to you.
